How do I leverage AI Analysis across multiple documents with AI Chat?
Leveraging AI within DealRoom has never been easier. AI Chat, part of AI Analysis, lets you ask questions across documents and contracts, accelerating diligence by cutting manual reviews, surfacing hidden risks early, and scaling capacity without extra resources. Instead of waiting on outside reviews or digging through documents, teams can get instant, verifiable answers linked to source material. In this article we'll walk through how to use it.
Note: AI Analysis, including AI Chat, is an add-on feature. If it’s not included in your subscription, contact your Account Manager to enable it. For customers with access, AI Chat is limited to admins only to maintain data room security.
How to Use AI Chat
Before you can leverage AI Chat across documents, you must have already generated summaries of the documents. To learn more about how to generate a summary, reference this article.- Open the data room where you want to chat across multiple documents, then navigate to the Data Room tab in the top navigation bar and select AI Chat in the side panel. To get started, top use cases for AI Analysis include:
- Lease Agreements
- Employee Contracts
- Vendor Contracts
- Customer Contracts
- Service Agreements
- At the bottom of your browser, type your questions into the text bar.
- AI Chat will review documents and contracts tied to summaries in the data room and provide answers based on the summary. You can get granular by limiting your query to specific documents or ask across all contracts.
- Once the answer populates, you'll see subtext that says Sources. Click on Sources for a breakdown of contracts where the synopsis was pulled.
