New Release

Gmail Add-On: Now you can log emails directly from Gmail with the new DealRoom Add-On. This integration allows your team to seamlessly log emails into your pipeline—improving visibility, accountability, and efficiency by ensuring key conversations are captured and accessible to everyone. For details on how to install the add-on, reference the directions below or read this help article: How do I setup and use the Gmail Add-On?

How to Install the Gmail Add-On

Log in to Gmail. On the left side of the interface, you'll see a row of apps. Scroll to the bottom and click the plus (+) icon to add a new add-on.

Once you click the plus icon to Get Add-ons, a Google Workspace Marketplace window will appear. In the search bar at the top, type DealRoom to find the integration.

The DealRoom integration will appear in the results. Click the install button to add it to your Gmail account.

A window will appear prompting you to sync your Gmail account. If you have a personal email synced on your computer, be sure to select the correct work email account you want to sync.

Another window will appear asking for permission to allow DealRoom access to the selected account. Click Allow to proceed.

Once the integration is successfully installed, a confirmation window will appear. Click Done to complete the setup.

After the integration is complete, you will see the DealRoom icon in the right-hand navigation panel of your Gmail account.

How to Sync an Email to A Deal Card

Once the integration is complete, click the DealRoom icon in the right-hand navigation panel to expand the menu. From there, select your organization and begin logging emails into deal cards.

To log an email to a deal card, use the dropdown menu to select the appropriate deal card from your pipeline.

When logging an email, you can choose to log just that single message by selecting Log only message, or log the entire email thread by selecting Log everything to deal.

From there, you can open DealRoom and navigate to the selected deal card to view the logged email under the Email tab.

How to Remove the Gmail Add-On

If you need to remove the add-on, open Gmail and expand the DealRoom menu. Click the three vertical dots, then select Manage add-on from the dropdown. This will redirect you to the Google Workspace Marketplace, where you can choose to uninstall the add-on.

If you need support, reach out to the DealRoom team through the in-platform chat or by emailing support@dealroom.net.
