There are three different ways to grant someone admin access:
Invite User to the Administrator Group
Click the room and navigate to the Permissions tab at the top.
Click the blue Invite user button.
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
From the Permission Group dropdown menu, select "Administrator" or the group you have designated as having admin permissions.
Click the blue Invite user button.
They will receive an invitation in their inbox in a few minutes.
Tip: If the invitee doesn't find the invitation in their inbox, advise them to check their spam folder.
Change User from another group to an Administrator
Go to the Permissions tab at the top.
Select the group the person is currently a member of from the left menu (e.g., banker group).
Use the search bar to find the person's name within the group.
In the Group column on the far right, select the dropdown menu and choose "Administrator" or the group you have assigned admin permissions.
They will now be an administrator and have admin access.
Grant User Pipeline Access
Select the Settings tab from the left menu.
Select Pipeline Access from the top.
Click the blue Invite Member button.
From the pop-up window, enter in their email and select their permission group. When necessary, select whether the user will be able to see and access your organization's reports.
Click Create.
Tip: Giving someone pipeline access as an admin would give them access to everything on the platform.
If you have any questions about inviting users, changing their group roles, or managing pipeline access, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team via in-platform chat or at support@dealroom.net.
