How to Create a Donut Chart by Deal Type
A Donut Chart is a useful tool for visually representing the distribution of deals across different types. This chart allows you to quickly assess which deal types are most prevalent and compare their proportions. It's especially helpful for teams looking to understand trends in deal categories and allocate resources accordingly.
Visualization Example:
Steps:
From the Explore menu, select Pipeline Deals.
In the Field Picker section, under the Deal option, select Deal Type and Count.
Click on the Run button at the top-right to generate the data.
In the Visualization pane, select Pie Chart as the visualization type. Then, adjust the inner radius to 40 (as shown below) to transform the pie chart into a donut chart.
By following these steps, you'll create a clean and informative donut chart that helps visualize the distribution of deals by type, making it easier to spot trends and focus on key deal categories.
