How to Create a Single Value Chart to Show the Size of a PIpeline

Single value charts are ideal for providing a quick, at-a-glance summary of important metrics. In this case, a single value chart is a powerful way to visualize the total size of your pipeline, helping you assess the overall deal volume without the distraction of complex visuals. Follow these steps to create a chart that displays the sum of deal sizes in your pipeline.

Visualization Example:

Steps:

In the Explore menu, select Pipeline Deals .
In the Field Picker section, click on the Deal option to expand its fields.
Locate the field Size ($m) -> Click the three dots next to it -> Select Aggregate -> Then choose Sum. This will create a measure called "Sum of Size ($m)", which will be automatically added to your visualization.

Click on the three dots next to the "Sum of Size ($m)" under Measure -> choose Edit .

In the pop-up window, navigate to the Field Details tab -> Under Format , choose U.S. Dollars from the dropdown menu.

Click the Run button at the top right to generate the data.

In the Visualization pane, select Single Value Chart as the visualization type.

That's it! You've successfully created a single value chart to display the total size of your pipeline, offering a quick summary of deal volume at a glance.
