How to Create a Single Value Card with Comparison / KPI Gauge Report

A Single Value Card with Comparison or KPI Gauge Report is an effective way to track progress toward a target or goal, allowing you to see performance at a glance. This visualization helps teams stay on top of key metrics and compare current performance against benchmarks, making it easier to evaluate how close they are to hitting targets like yearly deal quotas or revenue goals.

Steps:

From the Explore menu, select Pipeline Deals.
In the Field Picker, under the Deal option, select Count.
In the Data Pane, click Add Calculation and create a table calculation for the Yearly Target as shown below:



Click on Run button to generate the data.
Choose the Single Value chart type in the Visualization Pane.
To customize the card:
Click Edit in the Visualization Pane.
Go to the Style tab and in the Title Override text box, input "Deals in pipeline." This will display the custom title in the chart.



To enable progress comparison:
Go to the Comparison tab, toggle on Show Comparison.
In the Value Labels field, select Calculate Progress (with Percentage).



By following these steps, you'll create a Single Value Card that shows your current progress against your goal, making it easy to track performance in real-time.
