Getting Started With DealRoom - Seller Non-Admins

Guide to DealRoom for Seller Non-Admins



Welcome to DealRoom! This guide will walk you through the first steps to get up and running with our platform. DealRoom is designed to simplify and streamline the due diligence and M&A process, helping you manage tasks, securely share documents, and collaborate with your team all in one place. Whether you're new to DealRoom or looking to maximize its potential, this guide will help you get started quickly and efficiently.

Log In and Create Your Account.

Click on the Create Account button in your initial email invite. The email address you were invited in with will be used to create your account and log in. Please set up your password. Once you’re logged in you can continue to log in from links in email notifications or directly from DealRoom.net.



Adjust any account settings and set the frequency of your email notifications.

By clicking on your user name in the bottom left corner, you can select User settings to update your profile account and set the frequency of your email notifications



The Requests tab is your main view of all requests for information or tasks to complete. They will be under the Worklist section on the left.

Use the Filters up top to see tasks assigned to you to complete. Additional filters can also be found here.



If documents are asked to be provided, you can attach them to the Request by clicking the + next to Attachments if the document has already been uploaded to the Data Room, or click Upload or drag and drop to attach it to the Request.



If you choose to upload a document, the system will ask you which folder to store the Document in the Data Room. Once confirmed, the document will be attached to the Request and automatically put in the Data Room.



Once the document is attached, change the status to Resolved so everyone knows this Request is complete.
