How to set up Slack integration
Room administrators can enable Slack integration from Room Settings. The integration links DealRoom with a specific Slack channel.
When you click the "Add to Slack" button, you will be taken to a screen with instructions to follow to with instructions to connect your Slack channel with room in DealRoom
Once the integration is set up, the notifications will show up in Slack like this. We have an option for notifications for room activities including Request status change, newly added Request, etc.
Slack integration also lets you have a preview of a Request when the URL is posted to a Slack channel.
Administrators can control who can see these notifications by making this channel private and restricting who has access to it. These notifications will be able to be viewed by all members of the Slack channel, even if they don't have access to the room or Request from the room. The integration will have the same access level as the user who enabled it.
