How do I reset the ID number on a requests?

Recently updated your request list and need to reset your request ID numbers? This article will guide you through the quick and easy steps to reset your IDs and keep your workflow clean and organized.


Why Request IDs Don’t Automatically Reset

We understand it can be frustrating to manually reset your ID numbers, so here’s a bit of context. Each request is tied to a unique URL, which allows you to easily share direct links when needed. While this offers flexibility, it also means IDs won’t automatically update when your list changes.


That said, we know how important it is to keep things organized. That’s why we’ve made it simple to reset your request ID numbers whenever needed. Follow the step-by-step guide below, or reference the video walkthrough for a quick reset.


Direction to Reset Request IDs

  1. Once you create your new request(s) you'll see the ID numbers are off


  1. Navigate to the Settings tab, then select the Requests section and select Reset IDs.
  2. A menu will pop up to confirm, if you want to proceed, select Reset.


  1. Return to the Requests tab (you may need to refresh) to see the updated ID numbers.
