How Do I Use AI Document Organizer & AI Document Intelligence Assistants?

That’s where AI Document Organizer and AI Document Intelligence (both in Beta), two AI Assistants in DealRoom AI, come in, they help you quickly sort, analyze, and focus on what matters most. In this article, we’ll give a full overview of DealRoom AI, explain what each assistant does, how to enable them, and how to use them in your day-to-day workflow.

Overview of DealRoom AI
DealRoom AI embeds intelligence into your deal workflow, so your team can spend less time on manual work and more time on what matters. It automatically organizes documents, analyzes contracts, and helps you find answers across the data room, so decisions get made faster and with confidence. DealRoom AI has five key areas, including two new AI Assistants:
- Deal-Level Chat | Ask questions across all deal documents and get instant, source-linked answers removing the need for time consuming manual searches.
- Deal Builder | Creates a worklist of requests from a short questionnaire, helping your team get up and running without manual setup.
- Contract Analysis | Generate summaries based on key points extracted across multiple contracts, automating the process and ensuring consistent and accurate analysis.
- AI Document Organizer | Sorts seller uploads into the right categories as they come in, keeping the data room clean and easy to navigate.
- AI Document Intelligence | Reads every document and highlights the details that matter most, helping teams prioritize review and act faster.
How to Enable AI Document Organizer & AI Document Intelligence
Both AI Document Organizer and AI Document Intelligence are available at the room level. To enable them, contact your Account Manager, who can activate for the requested room. Once enabled, these AI assistants will automatically organize incoming documents and surface key insights, helping your team review files faster and focus on what matters most, closing deals.
How Do I Use AI Document Organizer?
1. Upload Your Documents | Drag and drop or upload your deal documents into the data room.

2. AI Processing | Within minutes, DealRoom AI reviews each file, detects its type, and automatically assigns it to the appropriate categories.
Click the folder icon next to Folders in the left navigation to view Categories. Categories correspond to the Type column.
3. View Document Type | After processing, you can see each document’s type in Table View under the Type column.
Alternatively, in the folder structure on the left, click the folder icon to switch to Categories and view the AI-generated category organization.

4. Adjust Folder Placement | If needed, you can move documents manually by going to the AI Analysis > Overviews, and see the AI’s suggested folder placement. From there, you can choose to move it to another folder if desired.

How Do I Use AI Document Intelligence?

- Open the Document | Open the document you want to review in the data room.
- Access AI Analysis | Click AI Analysis in the upper-right corner of the document.
- Select the Overview Tab | The AI Assistant will automatically analyze the document, highlighting key details such as contract terms, financial information, deadlines, and other important insights.
- Explore Insights in Detail | Click the arrow (caret) next to each category to expand for a detailed description and see links to source content, if available.
