Security and data privacy
DealRoom AI does not have access to your inbox
DealRoom AI does not connect to your email account, scan your inbox, or parse emails in the background. It has no visibility into your email at all — unless you explicitly capture a specific thread to a deal using the Outlook plugin.
You are always in control of what gets shared. When you connect an email thread to a deal, you're making a deliberate choice to bring that conversation into DealRoom. Only that thread — and subsequent replies to it — becomes available to the AI. Nothing else in your inbox is ever read, processed, or stored.
Every AI-generated summary, suggested update, and task recommendation is built exclusively from the deal context you've chosen to capture. The scope is always deal-specific, always explicit, and always initiated by you.
Data usage and model training
Your deal data is not used to train AI models. Content processed through DealRoom AI features — including email threads, attachments, and deal fields — is used solely to generate outputs within your workspace. It is not shared with third-party LLM providers for training purposes.

What data does the AI use?
