How do I reorder, reassign, or edit multiple requests at once?
Updating multiple requests can be a quick and efficient way to manage your work. In this article, we'll cover how to:
- Reorder requests
- Reassign requests
- Edit requests in bulk
To get started, open the Requests tab and check the boxes next to the requests you want to update. As you make selections, a counter in the top-right corner will show how many requests are selected.
Reordering Requests
To reorder your requests, simply click and drag the six-dot icon or grip functionality next to a request. Please note that you can only drag one request at a time to change its position.
If you want the index numbers to reflect the new order, you'll need to update them separately. To do this, go to Settings > Requests and, under the Reset requests’ IDs section, click the Reset IDs button. Learn more here: How do I reset the ID number on a request?
Reassigning Requests
To reassign multiple requests, select them using the checkboxes. Then, click the Assign button at the top of the screen.
Editing Requests in Bulk
Once you've selected multiple requests, you can edit them all at once. The following fields can be updated in bulk:
- Start Date
- Due Date
- Assignees
- Send Reminders
- Status
- Priority
- Labels
You can also perform other actions by clicking the three-dot button. From this menu, you can move, copy, delete, or unlink dynamic dates. Additionally, you have the option to export the requests to PDF or export to Excel.
