Why Can’t I See Certain Requests or Findings in DealRoom?

Why Can't I See Requests or Findings?
If you can’t see specific requests or findings, it’s likely because your user group’s permissions don’t grant access to them.
What to Do If You Can't See Requests or Findings
If you can’t view a specific request or finding, it’s likely a permissions issue.
- Reach out to your Room Admin — they manage user access. Just let them know what you’re trying to view.

How Administrators Manage Permissions
If you’re an admin, you have full control over what each user group can see and do. To adjust a user’s access to requests or findings, follow the steps outlined below:
Setting Permissions for Requests and Findings:
- Navigate to the Permissions Tab: From the top menu, click on Permissions.
- Select the User Group: On the left-hand panel, choose the specific Permission Group you want to modify.
Request Visibility
To control which requests a group can see:
- Click on the Requests within the selected group's permissions.
- Here, you can select/deselect specific worklists to make them visible or hidden for that group.
- Below this section, you'll find more granular controls for Request management, allowing you to set permissions for managing details, creating worklists, deleting requests, and accessing dates.
Findings Visibility
To make the Findings tab and associated findings visible for a group:
- Click on the "Findings" tab within the selected group's permissions.
- Check the "Allow members to:" box to enable access to create new findings, view the Findings tab, and access findings relevant to their group's requests/worklists.
By understanding these permission settings, administrators can effectively manage access and visibility, ensuring the right information is available to the right people on DealRoom.
