How do I create a custom view in the Pipeline?

Custom views in your pipeline allow you to filter and organize data based on the specific needs of you and your team, so you spend less time searching and more time making decisions. In this article, we’ll walk through how to create, access, and manage views.

1. Start Your Custom Views

To begin, navigate to your pipeline and click Adjust view in the top right. From here, you can choose a view type:

  • Board | Displays deals as cards, categorized by their phase (e.g., Prospect, Qualifying, Engaged). In this view, you can Sort by criteria like Title, Start Date, Status, Geography, etc., and choose between Ascending or Descending order for the sort direction.

  • Timeline | Visualizes deals chronologically along a timeline. Adjust the Zoom level to view deals by Days, Weeks, Months, or Quarters.

  • Table | Presents your deal data in a traditional spreadsheet-like format with rows and columns. You can customize the visible Columns to include information such as Title, Phase, Start Date, Company Domain, Last Note, Last Note Date, Company Name, etc.

2. Filter Your Deals

Next, click "All filters" near the top center of your pipeline to narrow down your deals.

You can combine multiple filters, such as:

  • Phase/Status
  • Company Name
  • Revenue (M)
  • Dates
  • Business Unit
  • Custom Fields

3. Save Your View

Once your pipeline looks exactly how you want it, click Save view in the top-right.

A "Create view" box will pop up:

  • View name: Give your custom view a clear name.
  • Shared with: Choose Everyone for team access, or Only me for private use.

Click Create view to save it.

4. Access and Manage Views

To use your saved view, click the All views dropdown.

You'll find your custom views under:

  • Personal views: For views shared Only me.
  • Shared views: For views shared with "Everyone" or specific teams.

When a view is active, it appears in your navigation with a dropdown that reveals options to:

  • Pin view to keep open: This means the selected custom view will remain easily accessible or prominent within the interface.
  • Make Default: This option allows users to set the current custom view as their default pipeline view.

Tip: Only pinned custom-views can be set as default view

The All views tab allows you to click on any view name to instantly load that specific display of your pipeline. From here, you can also Rename, Manage Sharing, or Delete your view.
