How to Link Attachments and Contacts to a Deal

DealRoom offers a comprehensive way to organize and centralize crucial deal-related information, including attachments, contacts, emails, and notes. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to seamlessly link attachments and contacts to a deal:

Access the Deal Card: Start by clicking on the deal card in your pipeline to open it and access its details.
Add Notes: In the center of the deal card, you'll find the option to add notes specific to this deal. This is a convenient way to keep track of essential information and discussions related to the deal's progress.
Manage Emails: Click on the Emails tab to view emails linked to this deal.
Create tasks: Click on the Tasks tab to create tasks with deadlines so nothing is missed.
Manage Contacts and Attachments: On the right-hand side of the deal card, you'll notice two sections: Contacts and Attachments.
Adding Contacts: To link a contact to the deal, click the Add contact button. This ensures that key individuals associated with the deal are easily accessible.
Uploading Attachments: To include important documents, click the Upload button next to Attachments. This enables you to add relevant files directly to the deal card.
Tip: Attachments can also be pulled from Outlook.

Note: Adding a contact does not give this user access to DealRoom. It only creates them as an internal contact record.

Note: DealRoom integrates seamlessly with Outlook. For detailed setup instructions, consult this article: How do I setup and use the Outlook plugin?

By effectively linking attachments and contacts to your deal cards, you ensure that all pertinent information is centralized and easily accessible, streamlining collaboration and decision-making processes.
