How to Delete, Close, or Reopen a Room

Please note that only users with Administrator roles can perform room deletion, closure, and reopening.

Deleting or Closing a Room


  1. Go into the room you'd like to delete and/or close.
  2. Navigate to the Settings option in the top navigation.
  3. Choose the General tab from the left menu.
  4. Scroll down until you find the Close Room or Delete Room option.


Note: Deleting a room will permanently erase all data associated with it, and access to the room will be revoked. However, the deal card representing the room will remain visible in the pipeline.


Note: Closing a room restricts access for all users, but the room's data remains active. Pipeline administrators can reopen a closed room from the pipeline view whenever necessary.



Reopening a Room


  1. Navigate to the Pipeline view by selecting Pipeline in the left menu.
  2. Locate the closed room using the search bar or scrolling.
  3. Open the specific deal card by clicking on it.
  4. Next to the "Room is closed" text, click the dropdown menu labeled Options.
  5. Choose Reopen room. This action will restore access to the room.


Tip: You can also remove a dealcard from the pipeline by using the dropdown and selecting "Remove from pipeline". See this article for more info: How do I remove a deal card from my pipeline?



Restoring a Deleted Room


  1. Navigate to the Settings tab from the left menu.
  2. Select the Deals Trash tab from the top.
  3. Scroll down to the room you've deleted and would like to restore.
  4. Click the blue Restore button.


Note: Once a room is deleted, you have a 2-week grace period to restore it before everything is permanently deleted.



Permanently Deleting a Room


  1. Navigate to the Settings tab from the left menu.
  2. Select the Deals Trash tab from the top.
  3. Scroll down to the room you've deleted and would like to restore.
  4. Click the red Delete button.
