How to Create a Request
In DealRoom, there are two primary components: the Data Room, where documents are stored, and Requests, which serve as the project management tool for efficient Q&A and task tracking.
Requests can be created to gather information or to assign tasks, facilitating communication and follow-up among users.
To create a request, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Requests tab at the top.
Click the New request button at the top right.
Complete the request form by selecting a worklist, providing a title, attaching documents, setting start and due dates, etc.
Once finished, click Create.
Note: If the New Request button is not visible, you may not have the necessary permissions to create new requests. Please contact an admin to adjust your permissions.

Once created, the request will appear in the selected worklist with the next available ID number. If you need to reset the ID numbers of requests in your room, follow the steps in this article: How do I change or reset the ID number on a request?
