How do I create and use labels?

How to Create and Use Labels for Requests

To create a label:

Open the request you'd like to add a label to.
On the right side, locate the word Label and click the plus (+) icon next to it.

From the drop-down menu, click on the Create a new label button or select from the labels already available.
Enter the name of the label you'd like to create.
Click Save.

The label will now be attached to that request, which you can then use to filter with later on by selecting to only view requests with certain labels.

Tip: Some common labels that could be useful are 30-day, 60-day, 90-day, Integration, IT, Operations, HR, etc.

Bulk Labeling Requests

In DealRoom, you can also label several requests at once. To do so, follow these steps:

From the Requests tab, check the boxes next to each request you'd like to label.
From the top menu, click Labels.

A pop-up window will appear. Select the labels you'd like to apply to the selected requests or create a new label to apply to the requests.
Optionally, you can overwrite all existing labels on these requests in favor of the new ones you have selected.
Once you have the labels selected, click Update.

The new labels will now be attached to the requests you selected.
