How to Create Custom Statuses



In DealRoom, custom statuses allow you to organize and track the progress of your tasks in a way that suits your unique workflow.

Navigate to the Settings tab from the left menu.
Select the General tab at the top.
Scroll down to the section labeled Task Statuses. Here you'll see the default statuses that DealRoom provides: Open, In Progress, Reopened, and Resolved.
To create a new status, click the button labeled New status +.



A pop-up window will appear. Enter the name, select the type, and choose the color for your new status.
Click the blue Create button.



Once created, you'll now be able to use this as a status on the requests in your rooms.

Note: You can delete the default statuses, however you must have at least one status of each type: Open, In Progress, Reopened, Resolved.
