Overview of the Requests Tab


The Requests tab helps you manage tasks, information requests, and due diligence in one organized space. It streamlines collaboration by allowing you to create, assign, and track requests, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and your deal stays on track.

Key Features and Elements



Navigation
The "Overview" and "Timeline" tabs let users toggle between a table view and a visual timeline of requests, making it easy to track progress and understand deadlines at a glance.


The Overview Tab
Worklists (Left Sidebar): This section displays a categorized list of worklists, each showing the number of completed requests out of the total. Parent categories can be expanded to view sub-categories.


Progress Visualization: You can click into the progress icon to adjust how progress is displayed:
None: No progress indication.
Absolute: Progress in absolute numbers.
Percentage: Progress as a percentage.


Request Status Indicators: Hovering over progress indicators reveals request status:
Grey: Open
Yellow: In Progress
Purple: Reopened
Green: Resolved


Create Worklist "+" button – Add a new worklist by entering a name in the pop-up modal.


Worklist Ellipsis button – Located next to each worklist, it offers options to: Add Worklist, Add New Request, Add New Finding, Expand/Collapse All, Rename, Export, Move, or Delete.


"Trash" section: In the lower left corner of the window, next to user settings you can locate the trash. Click in to recover deleted items.


Request List (Main Content Area) displays requests in a table format with detailed columns:
Request Information: ID, Title, Priority, Reply, Files, Actual Completion, Assignees, Due Date, Updated, Reviewers, Start Date, Findings, Creator.

Filtering and Sorting: Quickly search and filter requests by status, priority, due date, assignee, or reviewer.


Advanced Filtering: Ability to filter by Assignee (including unassigned), Reviewer, Creator, Follower, Status, Priority, Label, Updated, Due date (including overdue and unreviewed), Actual Completion Date, Department, Communication Method, Date Requested, Date Provided, Progressive Completion, Day 1 Requirement, ID#, Stage, and Mandatory.
Import & Export: Ellipsis button opens a menu to import requests or export them as PDF or Excel.


Adjust View: Customize the table view by selecting fixed columns, scrollable columns, and resetting to default.


New Request Button: Opens a modal window with comprehensive fields to create new requests:
Basic Info: Worklist, Title, Description, Docs, Status, Priority, Dates, Labels.
People: Assignees, Reviewers, Followers.
Tracking: Request dates, completion status, department, communication method.
Requirements: Day 1, ID#, Stage, Mandatory.
Actions: Cancel, Create, or "Create and add another.


Time Scale button: Adjusts the timeline view (Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, Years).


"New request" button: Similar to "Overview" tab, Let's you create a new request to add to any worklist
Timeline Header: Displays the timeline with date increments (weeks and months). Indicates the current date or selected date range
Worklists (Left Sidebar): Similar to the "Overview" tab, with expandable worklists.


Request List (Main Content Area: Displays requests as horizontal bars on the timeline, color-coded by status.
"Jump to Start" button: Navigates to the beginning of a request's duration.
